Essential Reading
There is a lot of books published on the sweatshop topic. Here are some of our recommendations.
1. Naomi Klein’s book is not strictly about sweatshops, but it is still essential to get an overall understanding of how corporate brands like Nike operate and oppress workers. It is a classic. You can pick it up on Amazon here: No Logo: 10th Anniversary Edition with a New Introduction by the Author
2. It is important to know the history of sweatshops so you can help make our world a better place. Sweatshop USA: The American Sweatshop in Historical and Global Perspective is a great resource edited by Daniel Bender and Richard Greenwald.
